How much do The Ukes cost?
There can be a wide variety in pricing depending on band size, performance duration, date and location.  The requirements of every event are different, so please contact us for a quote, being sure to include the date and location of your function and any other relevant details.

When is payment due?
In most cases we request a 25% deposit at the time of booking to secure the guys for your date, with the balance due during the week before the engagement.  Payment plans can be arranged upon request.

What do the musicians need?
If you require the band to play outside we’ll need adequate cover should there be a risk of inclement weather.  In most cases they’ll be bringing battery amplification (unless you want them ‘roaming’ and acoustic) although access to a power supply is essential where we’re supplying a traditional speaker system.

Are the musicians in the video the ones who will play at my event?
As you’ll see from our various videos and photos, the line up for the Ukes does change and vary from time to time.  This is so that we have ‘strength in depth’ and can therefore be sure to fulfil your booking regardless of whether one of the team is taken ill or unavailable.  The standard of all the musicians is exceptional, so you can rest assured that we’ll take care of you and guarantee your guests will be delighted!

How long do you play for?
We usually play for 2 x 60 minute sets, however this is flexible and we can quote for more/less performing, as well as altered set lengths.

Do you play recorded music during your breaks?
In the cases where we’re supplying amplification, we can play music from an MP3 player where appropriate. If you prefer you can provide your own music, but please inform us in advance so we can prepare for any potential technical issues.

Can you play at our wedding ceremony/drinks reception/dinner as well as providing music for the evening?
Yes, this is something we do regularly – please email us with your requirements. You may prefer to have a smaller option earlier in the day (e.g. a soloist or duo) and have the rest of the band perform in the evening, alongside us DJ’ing in the gaps..

How much space do you need?
For our party band setup it would be approximately 5m x 4m for the full 4-piece band. We are adept at fitting into unusual spaces! A stage isn’t necessary (although it’s a bonus if you do have one). We can also play outside, and be mobile – we can go anywhere!

How long do you take to set up?
Depending on the technical requirements it usually takes us between 30 to 60 minutes to set up, and we aim to arrive at least 90mins before the performance. If you would like us to arrive earlier to set up this is usually possible but may involve an ‘early arrival fee’.

How far do you travel?
We perform worldwide!  Based in Buckinghamshire we’re often to be found performing predominantly in the south of England and the midlands, but it’s not unusual to find us further afield.  Get in touch and let’s see what we can do!

Can we come and see you live?
Most of our events are private functions, but The Ukes do perform at public events around the Buckinghamshire area. Please contact us for details of suitable events.

What if I have to cancel?
No problem – however unfortunately we can only guarantee a full refund of your deposit if we’re able to secure another booking for the same day/time.

Have The Ukes of Hazzard ever had to cancel?
No. If one of the band is taken ill, we have plenty of incredible musicians and singers available to make sure your event is perfect!

What do I need to do to book?
We’ll send a booking form which you’ll complete and return with a 25% deposit by cheque or BACS payment. Please email info@ukesofhazzardband.co.uk for a booking form, which includes payment details.
